From 19 to 21 August 2025 the WTG 2025 turned the Brettmühlenteich nature campsite in the Zschorna district into a meeting point for sports enthusiasts. Organized by SV Motor Großenhain (triathlon section), athletes, volunteers and spectators came together for cycling time trials, road racing and a triathlon.
Tuesday opened with the individual time trial. Early activity on site: course setup, arrivals, bikes prepared. At 10:00, 164 athletes rode the 9 km loop; in the afternoon 108 athletes competed in the team time trial.
Wednesday featured the road race. 137 participants chased times – focused racing, quiet lake surroundings.
Thursday concluded with the triathlon. Transition zones were set up early, athletes warmed up by the lake. At 09:00 the start was given for 115 participants.
During WTG 2025 the Brettmühlenteich nature campsite provided space for competition, preparation, recovery and exchange – close to the action and set in nature.
WTG 2025 highlighted how endurance sport and a natural setting combine: three days, four formats, committed organization and a focused venue at the lake.
